BC Law Welcomes Renmin University Visitors

Newton, MA—Boston College Law School is pleased to welcome eight visitors from Renmin University in Beijing, China to the BCLaw campus for a week-long program titled “Insights into US Law.”
The program, which is being held in the school’s East Wing building each day from 9:00 am -1:00 pm., includes lectures from BC Law faculty members Judy McMorrow, Mary-Rose Papandrea, Richard Albert, Joan Blum, Filippa Anzalone, Joe Liu, Alexis Anderson, Gail Hupper and David Wirth. It also includes discussion sessions, tours of the school and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, tours of Harvard University and Law School, and a meeting with the Hon. James McHugh fromthe Massachusetts Court of Appeals.
“We’re very pleased to have established this relationship with Renmin,” said BC Law Professor Judy McMorrow, who helped organize the event. “We would like to welcome these important visitors to campus, and we look forward to sharing some very interesting discussions about the United States legal system with them.”
