9/15/08-- Boston College Law School is pleased to announce that it will host the roundtable discussion 'Preparing Students for Global Practice' on October 7, 2008. Co-sponsored by the National Law Journal and the Association of American Law Schools (AALS), the event will bring experts in the field of international law and education to the School to talk about the latest trends and global reach of the law.
"We think this will be an exciting and informative discussion for students and young lawyers on a topic of vital importance to their careers," said BC Law Dean and AALS President John Garvey.
Part of an ongoing series for practicing lawyers, Preparing Students for Global Practice will take place from 1:00-2:30 pm in room 120 of the East Wing building on the Boston College Law School campus.
Panelists will include:
William Alford, Harvard Law School; Professor Sarah Dillon, Suffolk Law School; Professor Frank Garcia, BC Law School; Dean John Garvey, BC Law School; Mark Leddy, Cleary Gottleib; Lee Miller, DLA Piper; Francis Wang, Kenneth Wang School of Law; and Paul Wickes, LinklatersUS.
