5/14/07--BC Law Professor Larry Cunningham will guest blog at Corporate Law and Democracy, a new blog started by Professor Renee Jones.

Professor Jones's new blog is receiving kudos from the blogosphere.  Veteran law bloggers Gordon Smith of the Conglomerate, Stephen Bainbridge of Professor Bainbridge, Dan Filler of Concurring Opinions, and Al Brophy of PropertyProfs have already commented on the new blog which was launched in early May.

UCLA Law Professor Bainbridge said "the role of corporations in a democratic society is a vital question, of course, so I will be watching her blog with interest."  Former BC Law Visiting Professor Al Brophy of Alabama noted the blog and observed, "with Professors Jones and Kent Greenfield Boston College Law School has emerged as one of the leading schools for progressive corporate scholarship."

Corporate Law and Democracy is a repository of ideas, comments and papers on a range of issues related to corporate law and democracy.  The blog will feature articles and commentaries on questions that fall at the nexus of corporate law and democratic theory including federalism, corporate governance and shareholder voting.

Professors Kent Greenfield and Mary-Rose Papandrea are also in the line-up as guest bloggers.
