Congressman Barney Frank at BC Law April 3
3/25/02-The Boston College Law School American Constitution Society is pleased
to announce that Congressman Barney Frank will speak at the school on Wednesday,
April 3, at 4 pm in East Wing room 120. Congressman Frank has represented the
Fourth Congressional District of Massachusetts since he was elected to the U.S.
House of Representatives in 1980.
In the 107th Congress, Congressman Frank serves on the Committee on the Judiciary
and the Committee on Financial Services where he is the senior Democrat on Housing
Programs. He also sits on the Judiciary subcommittee on the Constitution.
Before his election to the House, Congressman Frank served in the Massachusetts
House of Representatives and as an assistant to Mayor Kevin White of Boston.
During his time in Boston, he taught at the John F. Kennedy School at Harvard
, the University of Massachusetts-Boston and Boston University.
Congressman Frank is a 1962 graduate of Harvard College and a 1977 graduate
of Harvard Law School.
