BC Law Day of Service

On Friday, November 14, 2008, BC Law Alumni took part in the first ever BC Law Day of Service through the Senior Partners for Justice and the Volunteer Lawyers Project. These attorneys, all from Boston, gathered at the Suffolk Probate and Family Court to help clients in the area of probate and family law who would otherwise receive no counsel.  The following BC Law Alumni offered their services:  William Bowler '76, BJ Krintzman '91, Jill Zimmerman-Diaz '95, Dan Corzilius '97, Kristine Cummings '07, Barbara Siegal '89, and Mark Warner '89.

Barbara Siegal, the contact person at Senior Partners for Justice and Volunteer Lawyers Project, Mark Warner, and Christine Kelly coordinated the "Day of Service".

The day was a success and we hope to arrange several more BC Law Days of Service at various courts in the Spring.  For more information on volunteering, contact Christine Kelly at 617-552-4703 or kellychr@bc.edu
