Law Day 2006: May 15
The theme of this year's celebration is Leadership in the Profession. At Law
Day 2006, the Law School Alumni Association will honor Michael S. Greco ('72)
with the St. Thomas More Award, and Richard Packenham ('78) with the Daniel
G. Holland Lifetime Achievement Award (posthumously). A number of leaders within
the profession will also receive 75th Medals at the May 15 event. For more information,

Alumni Receptions
The Law School will be holding an alumni reception in London on May 3rd, 2006,
in conjunction with the School’s London Program. Libby Professor Sanford
Katz, currently a Visiting Fellow at Pembroke College, Oxford University, will
be the keynote speaker at the event. Professor and London Program Director Alan
Minuskin will also address the crowd. The event is being hosted by Clifford
Chance LLP in London.
“We wanted to give our alumni and our students in the London area the
chance to mingle, along with luminaries within the London legal community,”
said Director of Alumni Relations Linda Glennon. “This is the first alumni
reception we’ve held overseas, and we’re very excited about it.
Special thanks must go to Alan Minuskin, who has been instrumental in pulling
this together. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without his hard work.”

Alumni receptions for admitted applicants were also recently held in Chicago, New York, Washington, Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Northern California, and Southern California during the past three weeks. These receptions were well attended, and students had the chance to connect with BC Law alumni from those areas. Faculty speakers at the events included Prof. Mike Cassidy (NY/Wash), Dan Barnett (No/So Cal), and Fred Yen (Miami/Atlanta).
