A paper written by BC Law third-year student Amy Lai
for Professor David Wirth's International Organizations
seminar has been accepted for publication by the Hong
Kong Journal.

Leads Amicus Brief Submission in Proxy Access Case
Professor Kent Greenfield led the organization of
a group of 36 law professors who submitted a brief
in response to First Amendment issues put forward
by plaintiffs in the recent Business Roundtable and
Chamber Of Commerce v. SEC case.

After being separated from his wife and two young
sons - all U.S. citizens - for two and a half years,
a client of the Post-Deportation Human Rights Project
at Boston College is able to rejoin his family in
Massachusetts.

new Chair of the AALS Tax Section at its Annual Meeting

Gives 3 Million to BC Law for Loan Repayment
Boston College Law School will establish the Francis
X. Bellotti Loan Repayment and Forgiveness Program
in honor of Arbella Insurance Group Founder, current
Arbella board Vice Chairman and former Massachusetts
Attorney General Frank Bellotti, who graduated from
BC Law in 1952.

Named to Violence Against Women Committee
Francine Sherman, Clinical Professor and Director
of the Juvenile Rights Advocacy Project has been appointed
by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to serve a two-year
term on the new National Advisory Committee on Violence
Against Women.
