LRAP
Funds Awarded to a Record 104 Graduates
Boston College Law School is pleased to announce that
the School’s Francis X. Bellotti Loan Repayment
and Forgiveness Program (LRAP) awarded $373,000 this
year to 104 graduates, the School’s second highest
amount ever distributed.

Boston College Law School Dean Vincent Rougeau has

in the United States by On Being a Black Lawyer (OBABL).

Human Rights Project Helps Earn Legal Victory
In a federal court case brought by the Boston College
Post-Deportation Human Rights Project, together with
other immigrants rights organizations, the Justice
Department has been ordered to disclose the basis
for the Government's misleading representation to
the Supreme Court that a policy exists for returning
wrongfully deported immigrants.

On January 19, 2012 the 12th Annual Owen M. Kupferschmid
Lecture took place. The lecture, entitled "The
Emerging Supranational Criminal Justice System Following
the Adoption of the Rome Statute," featured Luis
Moreno-Ocampo, International Criminal Court Chief
