The Board of Overseers assists the Dean and the President of Boston College in ensuring the continued strength and vitality of Boston College Law School. Through in-depth familiarity with and active advocacy and support of the School’s mission, operations and aspirations, the Board of Overseers will work to advance the School as one of the country’s leading law schools.
The Dean holds spring and fall meetings of the Board and frequently communicates with the members in order to help them to develop an extensive understanding of the School. In turn, the Board is asked for its advice, counsel and active involvement to help the Dean maintain effective ongoing operation of the School and shape and execute critical strategic plans for its future.
The Board of Overseers plays a leading role to help the School secure the private source philanthropic support it must have to be successful as a top-tier law school. The current Chair is David C. Weinstein ’75.
