Career Services

The schedule for the 2014-2015 recruiting season and the bidding schedule will be posted on the career services website.

The deadline for participation in our on- and off-campus recruitment programs is July 11, 2014.  In order to participate in the recruiting programs, a transfer student must have paid his/her non-refundable tuition deposit by this date.  Once the tuition deposit is paid, the student must meet with our recruitment manager and one of our career counselors.  As we submit student resumes electronically to employers all at once, resumes of transfer students who pay their deposit after the July 11 career services deadline will not be included in the school’s submissions.

Mentoring

There are various opportunities for transfer students to receive valuable mentoring.  In addition to mentors in the faculty and administration, the BC Law Students Association (LSA)—through its New Student Committee—coordinates a mentoring program that provides peer mentors for first-year students and transfer students.  The New Student Committee will contact all incoming students—including transfer students—later in the summer.  The New Student Committee will provide incoming students with a survey that will be used to match mentors and mentees.  In the meantime, feel free to contact the transfer liaison on the New Student Committee.
