Veteran-Directed-Home and Community-Based Services (VD-HCBS) 101
The VD-HCBS 101 webinette is broken up into five stand alone sections. Section One begins with a brief overview of Veteran Direction and examines the research results of the participant-directed program, Cash & Counseling. Sections Two, Three and Four focus on the essential elements of VD-HCBS including individual budgets, person-centered planning, spending plans, goods and services, the Veteran-Directed Counselor and financial management services. The final section of the webinette discusses the importance of quality management in VD-HCBS programs.
