Boston College Graduate School of Social Work is pleased to announce that Marcie Pitt-Catsouphes, PhD, has been promoted to Professor. Pitt-Catsouphes teaches in the Older Adults & Families concentration. She directs the Sloan Center on Aging & Work and is the founder and co-director of the Center for Social Innovation at Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. Her research focuses on social justice in the workplace, including quality of employment; older workers; multi-generational workforce; and work-family issues. Pitt-Catsouphes is currently co-principal investigator for the field experiment, the Time and Place Management Study, which is examining the outcomes of an intervention offering flexible work options to work units at a large health care organization.
