The Forum on Housing for Vulnerable Young Adults is co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Task Force on Youth Aging Out of Foster Care and the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work.
This forum will bring together representatives of agencies with successful housing programs for vulnerable populations from across the Commonwealth to discuss who they serve, what type of housing and services are provided, where their housing is located, when and how it was established, and why their program is working. 12:30–2:30 p.m.— Graduate School of Social Work Diploma Ceremony
The 137th Commencement of Boston College will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013. The University Commencement, which is attended by all graduates, is held in Alumni Stadium (rain or shine) and will begin with the Academic Procession at 9:15 a.m. and end after approximately two hours. Four Awards for GSSW Video and Magazine

The Boston College Graduate School of Social Work Marketing & Communications Office has received four awards for the GSSW video and magazine. The BC Social Work Magazine: 75th Anniversary Special Edition received a Silver award in the 2012 Circle of Excellence Awards presented by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
The University and College Designers Association (UCDA) gave the “Excellence” award to the GSSW video, Where Transformation Happens, and was featured at the 2012 UCDA Design Show in Montreal.
The GSSW video received a Bronze award and the 75th Anniversary magazine received a Merit award in the Higher Education Marketing annual competition.
