The 136th Commencement of Boston College will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012. The University Commencement, which is attended by all graduates, is held in Alumni Stadium (rain or shine) and will begin with the Academic Procession at 9:15 a.m. and end after approximately two hours. BC's Sloan Center on Aging & Work's "Age & Generation Study"
Younger workers are bearing the brunt of the current economic crisis, while older employees show greater resiliency in a recession-battered workplace where employers seek to do more with less.
Drawing on a national survey of workers the Sloan Center has produced a comprehensive analysis of how the recession has influenced the way men and women look at their jobs. The Age & Generation study was featured on Boston Business Journal, MSN Money, State House News Service, AOL News, U.S. Politics Today, Dallas Business Journal, Reuters, and Yahoo! News.
