Boston College Graduate School of Social Work has announced new Certificate Programs within the MSW Program to give students the opportunity to engage in concentrated study in subject-specific areas of social work practice and expertise, allowing for enhanced skill sets and practice options.
Seven certificate options will be offered in the areas of Child Welfare; Latino Leadership; Policy & Community Organizing; Refugees & Immigrants; School Social Work; Trauma; and Veterans. Certificate course offerings are subject to change each semester. More about the Certificates Program »

All new students at Boston College Graduate School of Social Work will participate with faculty, administration, and staff in an afternoon of presentations and discussions exploring the complexity of social work practice in a diverse world.
In addition to brief presentations by GSSW faculty and staff, there will be presentations by Susan B. Parker, former Director of Policy and Research, Office of Disability Employment Policy, U.S. Department of Labor, and by the staff, students, and parents from the Cotting School in Lexington.
Lunch will be served.
