Boston College Graduate School of Social Work has announced new Certificate Programs within the MSW Program to give students the opportunity to engage in concentrated study in subject-specific areas of social work practice and expertise, allowing for enhanced skill sets and practice options.
Seven certificate options will be offered in the areas of Child Welfare; Latino Leadership; Policy & Community Organizing; Refugees & Immigrants; School Social Work; Trauma; and Veterans. Certificate course offerings are subject to change each semester. More about the Certificates Program »

After the recent Boston mayoral election, the Boston Globe asked Associate Professor Tiziana Dearing and other forward-thinking civic figures to share their ideas on what a visionary new mayor could do for the city of Boston.

This conference is a collaborative effort highlighting doctoral student research in the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work, Lynch School of Education, and William F. Connell School of Nursing. Awards will be given for the best paper and poster presentations based on review by an interdisciplinary committee of academics. The keynote speaker will be Rocio Calvo, PhD, GSSW doctoral program graduate and adjunct faculty member. The day will include lunch and a reception. There is no charge to attend, but registration below is requested.
