This fun event gives GSSW alumni and students a chance to explore careers and network with each other through informal conversation and a short formal career panel discussion. Appetizers and beverages provided.

Over 25 GSSW alumni and 35 students attended last year's networking event.

For Final Year Students: A half-day event to kick off your last semester at GSSW! The event includes an overview of the job search, a resume and cover letter writing workshop, and an alumni panel who will share their career experiences. Continental breakfast.

A member from the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Social Work will explain the social work licensure process in Massachusetts. While they will not be able to answer specific questions about requirements in other states, the process is similar enough in other states (except California) to make it worthwhile to attend for students looking to practice outside of Massachusetts.

Recruiters from across New England will be on campus to talk to students about employment opportunities at their agencies. Boston College Graduate School of Social Work students and alumni are invited to meet with area agency representatives and pick up materials and handouts describing their programs.
