Consortia & International Partnerships

Doctoral students can explore diverse learning opportunities presented by other universities in Boston, which is known for its rich cultural environment and many world-renowned universities. Boston College belongs to a consortium of area universities that includes Boston University, Brandeis University, and Tufts University. Doctoral students at Boston College can readily enroll in courses offered by doctoral programs at these consortium universities.

International Study

Boston College has affiliation agreements with outstanding universities in other parts of the world. Doctoral students in social work are encouraged to consider a semester abroad or similar arrangement if such opportunities would enhance their scholarly development.
