The Five-Year Bachelor of Arts and Master of Social Work (BA/MSW) Program is an opportunity available to exceptional students currently enrolled at Boston College pursuing a BA in Applied Psychology and Human Development in the Lynch School of Education or a BA in Psychology or Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences who want the challenge of working directly with individuals, families, and groups or with community-based social service organizations, developing innovative solutions to solve today’s complex problems, as they earn their BA and MSW in five years of study. Students begin the Social Work foundation courses during their junior and senior years and receive the BA at the end of four years and the MSW after the fifth year.
