Robin Warsh

Assistant Professor, Health & Mental Health

Robin Warsh, MSW, is Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice and maintains a therapy practice working with individual adults and couples. She has a particular interest in teaching and working with complex trauma and dissociation and is a Certified Internal Family Systems therapist. Professor Warsh teaches Basic Skills in Clinical Social Work, Psychosocial Pathology, Clinical Practice with Adults, and Internal Family Systems.

Professor Warsh began her social work career in the field of child welfare, specializing in the needs of adolescents aging out of foster care, family preservation, and family reunification. During that time she was awarded grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and The Annie E. Casey Foundation to develop training materials and author articles and books related to child welfare theory and practice.

Professor Warsh is on the Board of Directors of the New England Society for the Treatment of Trauma and Dissociation, serving as Secretary since 2007. She has and continues to lecture nationally and internationally on issues related to trauma and regularly teaches Internal Family Systems therapy to psychotherapists across the country.
