Below are some testimonials of last year’s bootcamp participants.

“The bootcamp was great for me on both a personal and professional level. Not only did I learn how to market myself properly, but it also opened a few doors -- including a nomination to the Google leadership lab in the Google Cambridge office, as well introduction to key people that can be useful as speakers in clubs that I am apart of on campus.

“Sophomore Bootcamp provided me with resources that were essential to landing my summer internship. From cover letter and resume critiques to interview tips, my time in the bootcamp sessions was well spent, and I left with the tools necessary to succeed both in preparation for this summer and beyond.” “I’m interning this summer at Procter & Gamble (I love it.) and also participated in Google Ad Camp—“

“Without the bootcamp I would have realistically procrastinated putting effort into the entire career building and networking aspect of college. BC has so many tools to take advantage of, many of which are unknown to its students, and it was an honor being able to participate in a program that expects dedication and commitment to growing yourself as member of the BC network. Whether I was listening to the speakers, or even just my fellow classmates, I was able to not just create a resume, learn how to dress, or establish my online presence, but also learn from the experiences of those around me. The bootcamp environment was one that promoted camaraderie and trust within its members, but also regularly pushed you to be more active in your job career search. The bond between Amy, Erica, and all of the members of the program will last throughout my remaining two years at BC and it is comforting to know there are people around that will be there to answer questions and support you!

during such a critical part of growing up.”

The Sophomore Bootcamp provided me the foundation I needed to tackle the application process to be an intern at Under Armour. Within the bootcamp I learned how to properly write a cover letter, update my resume and prepare myself with confidence for the 4+ interviews I went through. I got the internship at Under Armour, moved to Baltimore (its headquarters) for the summer and had one of the best experiences of my life!

 Bootcamp encourages you through practical and fun exercises to do all the "career center things" you know you should be doing.

 As a program specialized for sophomore business students, it's a great place to learn how to network and then network with fellow CSOM students, faculty, and invited speakers.

 Bootcamp offers a practical, comfortable environment to get individual career assessment help and personal questions answered.
