Meet the Ambassadors

Steven Berger
Carroll School of Management '13
Steven is originally from Scotch Plains, New Jersey. He is concentrating in Finance and also pursuing minors in History and Jewish Studies. Steven has been involved with Habitat for Humanity through Boston College’s Appalachia Volunteers for two years, including co-leading a trip to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania over Spring Break 2011. He is also a huge sports fan, and although unpopular in the Boston area, he remains an avid New York Yankees fan.

Kathie Li
Carroll School of Management '15
From the small town of Boxborough, MA, Kathie plans to study Accounting and Information Systems. As the Director of Communications for Zaarly Boston College, she is working hard towards building a strong BC community in this national start-up's marketplace. Kathie also enjoys watching TV shows on Netflix and eating Chobani yogurt when she is not dancing as a member of the BC Pom Squad and Hawaii Club.

Kristy Lyons
College of Arts & Sciences '13
Kristy is enrolled in the A&S Honors Program majoring in Economics and Communication. Born and raised in Huntington, NY, she loves being on the water or at the beach. She is incredibly outgoing and loves meeting new people. Kristy is a very positive, happy person and will rarely be seen without a smile on her face. She is very interested in volunteer work and hopes to incorporate this interest into her career.

Charles Rechtiene
Carroll School of Management '13
From Saint Louis, Missouri, Charles plans on concentrating in Finance and Information Systems. He enjoys playing lacrosse, fishing, reading, spending time with his two younger siblings, and doing community service. He is also a Cardinals baseball fan. Charles hopes to work in the finance industry where he can put his past experiences in financial services to use.

Brian Riccio
Carroll School of Management '15
Brian is from Wyckoff, New Jersey, which is near New York City. He plans to be a double major in Finance and Accounting. Brian is passionate about volunteering on campus. In addition to being a Winston Center Ambassador, he is also an Office Management volunteer for the Boston College Student Admission Program. Brian is an avid fan of BC and New York/New Jersey sports teams, and enjoys attending football and hockey games.

Daniel Tonkovich
Carroll School of Management '13
Daniel Tonkovich of Vancouver, WA is pursuing studies in accounting and history. He is a former editor of The Heights and a 2011 graduate of the Jenks Leadership Program of the Winston Center. He is currently a member of the Shaw Leadership Program and involved with several community organizations in Boston. While at BC, he has interned with Deloitte & Touche LLP in Boston and Johannesburg, South Africa and the Columbia River Economic Development Council in Portland, OR. His interests include journalism, history, running, football, and travel. After graduating from BC, he plans to pursue a career in the financial service industry, followed by law school.
