The Leadership Growth Project (LGP) is central to the work each Fellow undertakes as a member of the Lynch Leadership Academy. The LGP provides each Fellow the opportunity to gain and demonstrate expertise in the core work of the principalship—increasing student achievement by improving his/her own personal leadership skills. As part of the LGP, each Fellow selects an area of focus and identifies SMART goals they will meet by the end of the academic year. Once those goals are identified, each Fellow develops a project plan that drives implementation of the LGP. At the end of the year, each Fellow presents and submits an Executive Summary including their adaptive challenges, the solutions they attempted, and the impact of their actions on student achievement.
