Meet the Coaches

Ron Walker serves as the executive director of the Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color. Mr. Walker is the former associate director of ATLAS Communities, a comprehensive school reform organization with over 100 schools across the country in urban, suburban, and rural school districts. Mr. Walker is the recipient of the Black Educators Award for Professional Service in Education (1995) and the Liberating Vision Award presented by the National Council of Negro Women (1997). Mr. Walker also provides consulting services to principals of both charter schools and traditional public schools.
