Elizabeth M. Twomey, Ed.D., is a retired faculty member of the Lynch School of Education and a Fellow at the Roche Center for Catholic Education. Twomey has experience as an elementary and middle school teacher, an elementary and high school principal, and as superintendent of schools and associate commissioner of education for the state of Massachusetts. She was previously deputy commissioner of education and commissioner of education for the state of New Hampshire. She holds a bachelor of arts from Emmanuel College, a master's in education from Salem State College, and a doctorate in education from Boston College.
