Educational Background: Master of arts in education/counseling, Bridgewater State College; bachelor of arts in history, Stonehill College.

School Information: The Jackson-Mann K-8 School in Allston, MA, serves 738 students. The student population is 41.2% Latino/Hispanic, 35.2% black/African-American, 10.7% White, 3.1% Multi-Racial, and .7% Native American. Of these students, 78% receive free and reduced lunch and 24.1% receive special education classes.

Prior Experience: Andrew’s prior experience includes serving as principal of the Solomon Lewenberg Middle School in Mattapan, secondary mathematics program director for the Boston Public Schools, and guidance counselor, math teacher, and instructional resource specialist in the Brockton Public Schools.
