Current Position and School: Headmaster at Brighton High School.

Educational Background: Candidate for doctoral degree in educational leadership, Northeastern University; master of school administration/educational leadership & technology education, North Carolina State University; bachelor of art and design, North Carolina State University.

School Information: Brighton High School serves a diverse student population of 45% black/African-American, 41% Latino/Hispanic, 9% Caucasian, 7% Asian. About 15% of the students are classified as English language learners, and approximately 50% come from homes where English is the second language.

Prior Experience: Fred’s prior experience includes serving as principal at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School in Roxbury, MA, and instructional technologyfacilitator/assistant principal at Gravelly Hill Middle School in Efland, NC.
