Community & Student Life

Atrium

At the heart of the graduate student experience at the Carroll School is a collaborative spirit and a vibrant sense of community.

In part, that’s because classes are small, so graduate students have remarkable access to some of the finest teachers and researchers in the world, and plenty of opportunities to make their voices heard.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
Boston College’s Jesuit heritage also plays a role in fostering a sense of community. Graduate students fulfill the University’s tradition of service by serving as mentors, role models, or tutors in underserved communities, or by providing pro bono professional services to local nonprofit organizations. In addition, every year the University sponsors a Jesuit Day of Service that brings the entire community together to give back.

STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS
Graduate students at the Carroll School also find opportunities to gain leadership experience and develop personal and professional interests. Student organizations and clubs include the Graduate Management Association, Graduate Women in Business, the Biotech and Healthcare Club, and the Graduate Finance Association.
