Jianer Zhou, Ph.D.

Prof. Zhou received his MS in Business Administration and PhD in Operations Management from the Simon School of Business Administration, University of Rochester. After obtaining his BS in Economics from Fudan University in Shanghai, China, he was a business consultant in Accenture for four years.
Prof. Zhou’s current research interests involve supply chain management and interface of operations and finance. He uses theoretical models to examine how firms make operational decisions in conjunction with financial constraints/decisions to either improve their profit or mitigate their risk. He extends his study to a supply chain setting and incorporates game theoretic frameworks and contracting theories to address firms’ behavior.
