Tieying Yu, PhD
associate professor - management and organization department

Professor Yu received her PhD in Strategic Management from Texas A&M University and a MS in Economics from Fudan University in Shanghai, China.
Her research interests center on global strategy and competition, competitive dynamics and competitor analysis, technological innovation and diffusion. Her current research examines the competitive and cooperative actions of multinational firms across different countries. Her teaching interests also lie in global and competitive strategy. Professor Yu is currently an active member of the Academy of Management, Academy of International Business and Strategic Management Society, and has been a regular presenter at their annual conferences.
Prior to pursuing an academic career, Professor Yu worked in the banking industry for several years.
