EXPERTISE/RESEARCH INTERESTS

Professor Deishin Lee uses an operational lens to approach sustainability problems, focusing on how natural resources can be utilized more effectively. She applies analytical models to field-based problems in a number of different industries including food, energy, high tech, and industrial manufacturing. Professor Lee also has a stream of research on the management of information and technology in a network environment.

Prior to joining the Carroll School of Management, Professor Lee was on the faculty of Harvard Business School where she taught Technology and Operations Management, and Supply Chain Management. Before her doctoral studies, Professor Lee worked at Motorola in the Operations group within the Paging Products, Wireless Data, and Multi- Media divisions.
