Assistant Professor of Operations Management 

Position Opening for September 2013

We are seeking applicants for one full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or ABD) in Operations Management or related discipline and an outstanding research and teaching record or potential.  The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2013.

Lecturer of Operations Management

Position Opening for September 2013

We are seeking applicants for one full-time, non-tenure-track teaching position.  Candidates should meet AACSB qualifications either academically (an earned doctorate and active research agenda in the field) or professionally (an advanced degree and significant professional experience in the field) and have demonstrated excellence in teaching.  Specific responsibilities include teaching core and elective courses such as operations management, management science, and statistics.  The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2013.

Part-Time Positions

The Department also has occasional need for part-time lecturers to supplement the faculty, especially in semesters when members of the faculty might be on sabbatical. Part-time positions may also become available on short notice in unusual circumstances.  Areas include operations management (grad and undergrad core), supply chain management, new product development, new enterprise development, project management, statistics, strategy, and strategic planning and development.  Most of the graduate courses would be taught in the evenings.
