Kate Leavey is a lyric soprano and the former Director of the Liturgical Arts Group at Boston College. Kate also holds an MA in Sacred Music from Boston University, '98. In the 90's, Kate performed in Boston based theater and has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Waldorf Astoria and the Top of the Hub. Most recently, Kate won a grant to perform the works of Jake Heggie at the The Center for the Arts in Natick. Kate is married to her BC beau, Steve, and they live in Natick with their four kids. Kate teaches pilates, tutors writing and directs the choirs at St. Linus parish in Natick.
