Dr. Brian Cronin

Courses: Introdction to TheatreBrian Cronin received his BA in Communications and Sociology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, an MA in Drama from San Francisco State University, and earned his PhD in Drama at Tufts University with a focus of Theatrical History and Criticism.
He performed for several years as an actor and worked as an Assistant Dramaturg at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, where he was also a member of the Literary Committee and a script reader.
His areas of specialization include Medieval European Drama, Traditional Japanese Theatre, and Twentieth-century Avant-Garde performance.
At Boston College, he has taught Modern Drama and continues to teach Introduction to Theatre.
