Jacqueline Dalley

Jackie Dalley earned her BA in design from the University of California at Davis and her MFA in costume design from Carnegie-Mellon University.

Before coming to Boston College, Jackie was on the faculty at California State University, Northridge and did a considerable amount of freelance design work at many Los Angeles theatres, including the Odyssey Theater, The Horizon Theater and the Laguna Playhouse. Prior to that, she designed costumes for the Hilberry Theater (a graduate repertory theater) at Wayne State University in Detroit, where she also taught design. She has designed costumes for more than 150 productions ranging from children’s theater to opera, as well as for many water-ski and dive shows for Sea World. In Boston, besides her extensive Boston College design work, Jackie has also designed costumes for many Nora Theater productions, including Antigone, Dublin Carol and Van Gogh in Japan.

At Boston College, Jackie teaches courses in costume design and makeup design and has designed costumes for over twenty-five productions.
