a graduate level work-based program for leading responsible change

How can leaders generate or maintain sustainable organizations and balance responsibility and profitability within society?   This change requires a new paradigm of leadership.

Leadership for Change guides working professionals to become leaders of change for the common good. Effective leaders gain measurable results and engage sustainable business practices.

Eleven Months of Engaged Learning

  • Module Schedule-Leadership for Change meets monthly from September through February in a Friday and Saturday session.
  • Workshop Schedule-Leadership for Change transitions to a monthly Saturday workshop format from March through May in support of the work-based project.
  • Learning Team Meetings-Each participant attends a Learning Team meeting one evening per month.
  • Expectations-Attendance; advance reading and preparation for each session including written assignments; a work-based project presentation; and a final paper.

Collaboration

Leadership for Change faculty represent The Boston College Carroll School of Management and the Department of Sociology; Harvard Graduate School of Education; The Work and Learning Center at Northeastern University; and business partners from the greater Boston area. Leadership for Change faculty, staff and business partners actively design, develop, and facilitate the program with Leadership for Change alumni input and support.
