• Recently offered courses: This list includes sociology courses that have been offered in the last few years.
• Sociology syllabi: We maintain syllabi online for sociology courses offered over the last few years.

Course requirements

• Undergrad sociology requirements are summarized on the Major/Minor Requirements page and explained in more detail in the Undergraduate Sociology Manual.
• Graduate sociology requirements are summarized on the Ph.D. and M.A. pages and explained in more detail in the Guide to Graduate Study.

Taking external courses

• Other BC schools: An override form is filled out, signed by the Dean of the other school, and taken to Student Services for registration.
• Consortium schools: BC belongs to a consortium of local universities, which simplifies registration for those schools and guarantees BC credit. See our grad and undergrad consortium pages for procedures.
• Study abroad: Undergraduate students have the chance to take a semester abroad and get credit toward their BC degree; see our study abroad page and the Office of International Programs (OIP) website for more details.
