Two-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics:

The Department of Romance Languages seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor to collaborate in curriculum development across the romance languages, and teach upper level Spanish language courses. This is a full-time appointment with a 2/3 teaching load and two-year term, contingent on a successful review, beginning in July 2012.

We seek a candidate with native or near native fluency in Spanish, Ph.D. in hand, evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level, training in second-language acquisition and its relevant technologies, and dedication and enthusiasm for language instruction. Expertise in foreign language pedagogy particularly welcome.
