Scheduling

Faculty should keep Monday, Wednesday, and Friday free from 3-6 pm (with the exception of those who teach from 3-4 pm on these days). These are the hours when colloquia and faculty meetings will be scheduled.

Faculty Meetings

Faculty meetings are typically held about once a month on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm.

Colloquia and Other Talks

Colloquia are scheduled approximately once a month by the colloquium committee. Invitations for the upcoming academic year are made in the spring of the previous year.

Colloquia are held on Monday, Wednesdays, or Fridays, starting with a reception at 3:30, followed by the talk at 4:00. Speakers are invited to a dinner with several faculty and 1-2 graduate students.

Other talks, such as a faculty/graduate student seminar series, are also scheduled during these hours.
