Internship and Career Information
Helpful information about internship and career opportunities for Political Science majors can be found on the website for The American Political Science Association.
Political Science majors can receive credit for internships on a one-credit Pass/Fail basis if the internship provides an educational experience equivalent to a one-credit practicum in the College of Arts and Sciences. To receive credit and have an internship listed on their transcripts, students should review University rules on internships and submit the Internship Approval Form to the Political Science Department Administrator, Ms. Shirley Gee, in McGuinn 200.
Boston College Political Science majors have in the past discovered internship opportunities at the following organizations. Do bear in mind that application deadlines for summer internships may be as early as the prior November.
