Applicants with an interest in the Music major or minor may submit a CD to the Music department, with one or more pieces as evidence of their skills and achievements. The submission is optional and not required for entry into Boston College. There are no set guidelines on what to include on the CD, but we suggest you display what you do well and with some degree of variety. The applicant should submit only the CD to the department, further documentation is not necessary. The Music department can only promise to review submissions of prospective majors and minors if the CDs are so labeled. Please be aware that only a very limited number of individuals are recommended to the Admission Office. Live auditions are not held. Submitted CDs will not be returned.

October 15 is the deadline for submitting supportive material for Restrictive Early Action applicants and December 1 is the deadline for submitting supporting material for Regular Decision applicants.
