Ph.D. Program in Mathematics
The doctoral degree program is our primary offering, with the first class enrolled in Fall 2010. Students in this program are supported with Teaching Fellowships, which include a generous stipend plus complete tuition remission.
The limited size of our program contributes to a closely-knit group of friendly graduate students, whose computer-equipped offices are interspersed amongst the mathematics faculty offices in Carney Hall. More
Master's Programs with Other Schools
Traditionally, we have participated in three joint graduate programs leading to masters degrees outside Graduate Arts and Sciences, including an M.S.T. degree (Master of Science in Teaching), an M.Ed. degree, and a joint M.A./M.B.A. with the Graduate School of Management. These offerings are currently under review due to the introduction of the Ph.D. program. If you are interested in these programs, please email the Assistant Chair for Graduate Programs, Tao Li. More
