Studying abroad can be a wonderful complement to the International Studies Program, and students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the many programs offered through Boston College. Majors and minors in the program have studied in more than thirty countries, participating in programs during the academic year and the summer.

If you are planning to study abroad, make an appointment to talk with Ms. Patricia McLaughlin before planning courses. Courses taken abroad must be pre-approved by ISP; please do not take the risk of not receiving credit by waiting until you return from abroad to have courses approved.

ISP has created a database of student evaluations for study abroad programs, available at the link below. This database is alphabetized by country. Students who filled out the survey may be contacted with additional questions.
