Advising

The interdisciplinary character of the major and minor in International Studies requires that students carefully coordinate their course of study across many academic departments.

Admission and Application Forms

Admission to the major is by competitive application at the end of the freshman year. Admission to the minor is by submission of an acceptable course of study.

Information for First Year Students

Freshmen or transfer students who are considering applying for this major are advised to take one or more foundational courses appropriate for the International Studies Program to build their academic background and demonstrate their academic skills in topics related to the major.

Internships

Students are encouraged to seek appropriate internships and to explore post-graduate options.

Study Abroad

ISP periodically publishes student evaluations of study abroad programs.

Graduate Programs

Students who graduate from the International Studies Program often continue their education.
