Research Interests:

My primary field of study is Early Modern Europe with a specialization in Renaissance and Reformation Italy.  Minor fields of interest include Early Modern Ireland, Famine-Era Ireland, and Early Modern Britain and the Atlantic World.  My current research revolves around issues of civic identity and heresy in sixteenth-century Siena
