My dissertation, which examines the role of male "feminists" and male allies of the fin-de-siècle German women's movement, combines many of my primary research interests: modern Germany, men’s studies, and the history of feminisms. My other interests include modern European intellectual history, queer theory, and transnational women's and gender history.
