Fields of Interest

Josephine von Henneberg is a specialist in Italian and Baroque art, with a particular focus on architectural history. She is presently working on architectural projects in Tuscany carried out under Ferdinando I de’ Medici. She has received grants from the Samuel Kress Foundation, the American Philosophical Society and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Josephine von Henneberg Lecture in Italian Art is given annually through an Endowed Lecture Fund.
