Lisa M. Cuklanz is Professor and Chair of the Communication department.

Dr. Cuklanz is the former director of Women's Studies at Boston College and past co-chair of the Radcliffe Graduate Consortium in Women's Studies. She has served as Visiting Fulbright Professor of Communication Studies at Hong Kong Baptist University, and as Harvard Law School Fellow in Law and Communication.

She is author of two books published by the University of Pennsylvania Press, as well as numerous articles published in journals including Critical Studies in Mass Communication, Communication Quarterly, Journal of Gender Studies, Women's Studies in Communication, and Communication Studies.
