Aubrey Pringle ’12 knew the minute she stepped on to the BC campus that things felt right.  She was impressed by the academics, athletics, and beautiful campus, but what resonated with her the most were the students: “All of the students I met were compelled to use their education in ways that would benefit others.”

The communication major was a good fit for Aubrey as it provided a broad foundation for her to pursue studies in journalism.  Her internships at two television news stations in Boston and Chicago complemented her academics, and both were a launching pad for a career in journalism. 

When asked about advice she would offer to current BC students, Aubrey says she would encourage them “…to find a mentor at BC; to get involved on campus; to take advantage of internships that may help them discover their passions; and to consider their natural gifts and passions when choosing a career path.”  Aubrey is currently enrolled in a graduate program in journalism at Northwestern University.
