2012-2013

Individuals wishing to attend classes during the day as special undergraduate students should apply to the James A. Woods, S.J., College of Advancing Studies for Visiting Student status. Each applicant is advised during the academic process. Qualified applicants are admitted to specific courses on an individual basis. The tuition for such a course is $1438 per credit hour for 2012-2013. Registration fee is $20.

International Visiting Students will also need to complete a Declaration and Certification of Finances (DCF) form: Undergraduate DCF form.

Registration

2012-2013

In-person Fall registration is held from Monday, August 27th through Thursday August 30th from 9a.m.to 8:30p.m.; Friday August 31st from 9a.m. to 5p.m.; and Tuesday, September 4th, from 9a.m. to 8:30p.m. in McGuinn Hall, Room 100.      

Fall classes begin Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

In-person Spring registration is held from Monday, January 7th, through Thursday, January 10, 9a.m. to 7:30p.m., Friday January 11th from 9a.m. to 5p.m.; and Monday January 14th from 9a.m. to 8:30p.m. in McGuinn Hall, Room 100.

Spring classes begin Monday, January 14, 2013.

 

Immunization

2012-2013

Massachusetts State Law requires that all students who are registering for 9 or more credits show proof of satisfactory immunizations. For more information please visit University Health Services. Failure to show proof of immunization within 30 days from the first day of class will result in a block on your registration and a non-refundable administrative late fee of $65 will be charged to your student account.


Medical Insurance

2012-2013

Annual mandatory Massachusetts medical insurance is $2290. If you enroll in 9 or more credits per semester you will automatically be enrolled in the Boston College Insurance Plan. Students who wish to waive the BC Insurance Plan electronically may do so through AGORA. The deadline to waive the Medical Insurance for Fall is September 14, 2012 and by January 24, 2013 for the spring semester insurance coverage.


Payments and Refunds

2012-2013

All fees and tuition charges are due when courses begin.

Fees are not refundable; no refunds are made to auditors. Not attending classes, stopping payment on a registration check or a registration check being returned by the bank does not constitute withdrawal and full charges are due. Upon recept of written notice of withdrawal from a course the tuition refunded is prorated. Fax number is 617-552-8404. There are no refunds beyond this schedule.
